The American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology (ABPN) is now accepting applications for the 2023-2024 Faculty Innovation in Education Research Awards.
The ABPN Faculty Innovation in Education Award supports the development of innovative education and/or evaluation projects that promote effective residency/fellowship training or lifelong learning of practicing psychiatrists and neurologists. The duration of the fellowship will normally be for two years with a maximum amount of funding of $50,000 per year or $100,000 total.
The 2023-2024 application and accompanying materials are due to the ABPN by August 15, 2022. Recipients will be announced by December 1, 2022, with funding to start on January 1, 2023.
The ABPN Education Research Award supports research projects related to the mission of the ABPN, which is to promote and assess the competency of psychiatry and neurology candidates for initial and continuing certification (maintenance of certification). The maximum amount of funding available is $100,000 per award and projects may take up to two years to complete.
The 2023-2024 application and accompanying materials are due to the ABPN by August 22, 2022. Recipients will be announced by December 1, 2022, with funding to start on January 1, 2023.
