ACLP Annual Scientific Meeting
Once a year in November, members gather to exchange ideas and explore emerging trends and issues in medical and consultation-liaison psychiatry. The annual meeting of the Academy features internationally known plenary speakers, informative poster and paper presentations, in-depth symposia and workshops, and special CME review courses. Members receive a discount of usually greater than 25% over non-member registration fees; persons in training receive an even greater discount. Members and non-members alike look forward to the intimate networking environment and thought-provoking content offered at the ACLP annual meeting.
The Academy's annual meeting is typically approved for AMA PRA Category 1 credit(s) unless otherwise indicated.
ACLP Committee Involvement
The Academy of Consultation-Liaison Psychiatry is fortunate to have a vibrant governmental structure that allows members from across the country to be an integral part of the decision-making process. This results in continual improvements to Academy program and service offerings, and a leadership that exerts its influence in the field of psychosomatic medicine though on-going dialogue with national and international organizations.
Committee and subcommittee members generate and assess programs and services, stimulate interest among members and the general public, and insure the financial soundness of the organization. Their dedication and creativity have shaped ACLP's progress and continue to reflect and foster the needs of the practitioner, teacher, and researcher of consultation-liaison psychiatry.
