Description of Program

Brief description of program [optional]: UVA’s Consultation-Liaison fellowship program is committed to training physicians to provide compassionate, evidence-based psychiatric care to adult patients with a variety of psychiatric and medical illness. Fellows will learn to liaise effectively with multi-disciplinary teams, colleagues in other specialties, and community resources in a large, complex health system with a variety of patient populations from in and around Charlottesville and central Virginia. UVA has a robust CL service with 5 board-certified Consultation-Liaison psychiatrists and high-quality elective opportunities in Women’s Mental Health, Psycho-oncology, and Addiction.
