Access Online Journals

How to Access Psychosomatics Online

Psychosomatics has moved to a new online platform. ACLP members must follow this one-time process to activate their online subscriptions to Psychosomatics, as well as to the other two journals ACLP members receive as a benefit of membership (Journal of Psychosomatic Research and General Hospital Psychiatry).

NOTE: You will need your ACLP membership number to activate your subscriptions. Look it up on your ACLP member profile before starting: Member Resources > My Profile

Step 1:

Go to https://www.sciencedirect.com/science/activate/aclp; enter your ACLP membership number and click “Continue”.

Step 2: Connect your membership number to an existing login.

If you have one, the next page will prompt you to sign in with an existing Elsevier or ScienceDirect account (NOT your ACLP membership credentials) and will then associate your journal access to your existing profile. If you’ve never had an Elsevier account, or do not yet have a ScienceDirect login, click the blue “Register Now” link on this page to create an account.

Once login/registration is complete, you will be returned to the ScienceDirect homepage and can use the Journal/Book title search box to access your subscription. You can go directly to the journal here: https://www.sciencedirect.com/journal/psychosomatics (bookmark this for quick access in the future)

New members: your online access will only be enabled once Elsevier receives from the Academy a mailing list for the next issue (every two months). If you need urgent access, please contact the Academy executive office for assistance.

Need technical assistance with your ScienceDirect login? Please do not contact the Academy executive office, but instead contact one of Elsevier’s regional support teams:
