ACLP Board of Directors Nominations Now Open

Chapter V, Section 2.1 of the bylaws, “Election of Board Directors,” states: To be elected a Board Director, a candidate must be a Fellow of the Academy. Board directors are elected at the annual business meeting of the Academy for three-year terms and may succeed themselves for a second three-year term not counting partial terms.

Only Academy Fellows in good standing are eligible candidates to stand in the elections to the Board of Directors in November. Regular Members are not eligible to apply. The application deadline is June 16, 2025.

Application Process

Declarations of candidacy are only accepted online via the application form. The form must be submitted by 11:59 PM Central Time on Monday, June 16, 2025. The deadline will not be extended and applications submitted via other means will not be accepted. Candidates must apply directly; nominating others for board elections is no longer permitted.

New for 2025

Our new application asks applicants to answer specific questions regarding their qualifications for Board candidacy. Additionally, letters of support will not be solicited or accepted.
