The abstract submission deadline for APM 2017 closed on April 2, posting a 3.1% increase on submissions over APM 2016.
The strongest growth area this year by far was in General Session submissions (previously known as workshops & symposia), which jumped 28%, with a total of 138 submissions. While oral papers and posters held relatively steady compared to 2016, pre-conference skills courses declined from 15 submissions in 2016 to 10 for 2017.
The review process is scheduled to finish by May 31, with notifications to all submitters being issued on or near that date. The program will be published online in June with online registration opening around the July 4th holiday.
