CLP 2020—ACLP’s First Virtual Annual Meeting

From Jesse Fann, MD, MPH, FACLP, program chair, and Jane Walker, MBChB, PhD, executive program chair

“We are excited to announce that CLP 2020 will be the Academy’s first virtual annual meeting. We invite you to join us on November 12 and 13 for what will be a very special event.

“We, and our program committee, are sad that we will not see you all in Phoenix as we had planned. As you know, COVID-19 has made this impossible.  However, we are still looking forward to sharing a fantastic meeting with you.

“So this year, look forward to enjoying some world class speakers in the comfort of your own home or office. Sit wherever you like. Put your feet up if you choose. As you listen, drink your favorite coffee from your favorite mug.  And know that your ACLP friends are there with you!

“The two-day live meeting will be a mix of presentations, discussions, and social events, because we want to ensure that members can both learn together and be together.

“Registration will also include access to a large library of recorded workshops, brief oral presentations, and posters. And the Essentials Course will be free to ACLP members who register for the meeting. This year, an amazing package of skills courses will be available to you with one single price. We will even have a special course for clinicians new to C-L Psychiatry.

“We will be sending regular updates as we fine tune the details and please keep an eye on www.clp2020.org

“Save November 12 and 13 in your schedule—we can’t wait to see you at CLP 2020!”
