Description of Program

The fellowship in C-L at Brigham and Women’s Hospital/Dana-Farber Cancer Institute Harvard Medical School has been in existence for over forty years, providing the highest quality education and training in the knowledge base and clinical practice of C-L psychiatry. The fellowship provides a strong learning environment with dedicated and knowledgeable faculty while simultaneously maintaining individual autonomy for the fellows in the evaluation and management of patients on whom they consult. A desire to learn the subspecialty of C-L Psychiatry and a mature willingness to work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team are predictors of success in the fellowship. We have a total of 23 inpatient C-L and 12 outpatient C-L faculty members who each have strong backgrounds in general C-L as well as niche areas of interest and expertise.
