Description of Program

A one-year program, the fellows spend four-month rotations at Emory University Hospital, the Atlanta VA Medical Center, and at Grady Memorial Hospital. In each four-month rotation, the fellows work in both inpatient and outpatient centers providing psychiatric consultation services for a variety of patient populations which include Emory's Organ Transplant Center, Grady's Infectious Disease Program, and patients with PTSD at the Atlanta VA. Educational experiences include weekly didactics, monthly fellow's case conferences, and the How to Teach Seminar. Fellows have opportunities to participate in clinical research projects and publications.
