This is a dynamic fellowship divided between two tertiary care hospitals (Long Island Jewish Medical Center and North Shore University Hospital). We have a large staff which includes 8 C-L trained doctors between both campuses. The fellow’s clinical experiences during the year are unique and include:
— Team-embedded psychiatrist on our inpatient med/psych unit at LIJ
— Perinatal psychiatry clinic where fellows spend one half day a week for 3-6 months, depending on their interest
— Longitudinal collaborative care rotation
— Clinical rotations on the palliative care services
— Outpatient Transplant Evaluations
— Clinical rotation in our outpatient HIV Clinic
— Clinical rotation in our outpatient chronic pain Clinic
