Description of Program

The one-year Mount Sinai Hospital Consultation-Liaison Psychiatry Fellowship Program offers advanced training in both hospital and ambulatory settings with clinical, educational, administrative and research opportunities. The training takes place in a diverse urban setting at The Mount Sinai Hospital, a 1,134-bed, tertiary-care teaching facility affiliated with the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. Fellows consult to inpatient services which include general medical, surgical and obstetrical services as well as specialty services in transplant, oncology, neurology/neurosurgery, traumatic brain injury/spinal cord injury, and cardiology/cardiothoracic surgery. Fellows also have the opportunity to rotate in outpatient clinics such as Oncology, HIV, Center for Transgender Medicine and Surgery, Ob-Gyn, Primary Care, and Transplant.
