Description of Program

This fellowship offers clinical work at 3 hospitals and includes extensive outpatient C-L opportunities in medical/surgical clinics. 4 month blocks at each site where the fellow functions as a junior attending while building leadership skills in preparation for being a leader in mental health.

Sites:
-- UWMC - university specialty hospital of mostly organ transplant and cancer care
-- HMC - community hospital, number one trauma center in the 5 state area (Washington, Wyoming, Montana, Idaho, Alaska)
-- VA - excellent exposure to trauma and addictions treatment.

Didactics:
-- Weekly General Fellowship Didactics: Thursdays at 7 a.m.

-- UW- Integrated Care Community-Based Fellowship and certification
