Description of Program

UNC’s C-L fellowship program is designed to train clinician-educators, administrators and researchers to become leaders in the field by providing intensive, personalized coaching while fellows primarily function at the level of supervisor of senior psychiatry residents. Fellows also have a year-long, 1/2 day per week longitudinal psycho-oncology outpatient experience where they provide direct patient care in addition to dedicated blocks to explore other specialty inpatient and outpatient experiences. Fellows are additionally provided significant administrative time, with specific coaching, to support and provide the flexibility required to develop specific clinical, scholarly, administrative and/or research interests.
