Description of Program

UNC’s C-L fellowship program is designed to train clinician-educators, administrators and researchers to become leaders in the field by providing intensive, personalized coaching while fellows primarily function at the level of supervisor of senior psychiatry residents. Fellows also have a year-long, 1/2 day per week longitudinal psycho-oncology outpatient experience where they provide direct patient care, and they can have another 1/2 day per week of clinic outside of psycho-oncology as desired. Fellows are additionally provided significant administrative time, with specific coaching, to support and provide the flexibility required to develop specific clinical, scholarly, administrative and/or research interests.
