Depression Subtypes in Systolic Heart Failure: A Secondary Analysis from a Randomized Controlled Trial

Dr. Sadlonova is an Attending Physician in C-L Psychiatry for the cardiac ICU and the units of the Department of Cardiac, Thoracic, and Vascular Surgery at the University Medical Center Göttingen in Germany.
Her scientific work focuses on clinical psychocardiology. She completed her fellowship in Psychosomatic Consultation-Liaison Service at the University Medical Center Göttingen in 2020, where she subsequently served as a staff physician in the Department of Cardiac, Thoracic, and Vascular Surgery. From April 2021 to September 2022, she was a Research Fellow at Massachusetts General Hospital and Harvard Medical School.
Dr. Sadlonova serves as principal investigator or co-principal investigator in several multicenter interventional and observational studies in interdisciplinary cardiovascular research. Her clinical and research interests include C-L Psychiatry and interdisciplinary cardiovascular medicine, with a particular focus on prehabilitation prior to cardiac procedures, collaborative care for cardiac patients with psychological distress or mental disorder, postoperative delirium, and secondary prevention in the context of cardiac surgery and cardiology.
